Crops such as cut flowers, container nursery stock and field grown vegetables respond well to this formula. It can be used for foliar feeding due to its very low salt index and high level of urea nitrogen. Use during periods of vegetative growth when plants have a high nitrogen requirement. Use to correct nitrogen deficiency where soil or tissue tests show low nitrogen.
Plant-Prod 28-14-14 High N fertilizer can be used:
- During vegetative growth periods, when the plant need a high level of nitrogen;
- To address the nitrogen deficiencies; and
- As foliar fertilizer on plants grown in nurseries or for agricultural crops.
Cut flowers cultivations, plants in containers and vegetables grown on fields respond well to this formula. Due to its high acidifying potential, it is particularly recommended for the cultivation of orchids and of many woody plants. Its low salt index and its high nitrogen level in the form of urea make it an ideal fertilizer for foliar fertilization.
